Spanish Fork Junior High had the honor of hosting renowned young adult author, Neal Shusterman last week. Prior to his visit, our English teachers encouraged students to read one of his many novels in preparation for the schoolwide question and answer assembly and book signing.
As part of the Gleanings Tour promotion, students and faculty were able to purchase Shustrman's latest book in the Scythe series on its release date, November 8. Additional books were purchased for the school and classroom libraries thanks to a grant from the Nebo Foundation, the SFJHS PTA, and The King's English Bookstore in Salt Lake which offered the books at a generously discounted rate.
