Art City Principal Lisa Muirbrook

Art City Elementary students started the meeting by singing the National Anthem and performing their sign-language skills.

Principal Lisa Muirbrook thanked the Nebo School Board for the invitation to come and present to the Board. Principal Muirbrook also introduced her fantastic team including Terri Jensen, the counselor and student-council advisor, as well as the following fifth-grade student council--Gemma Wills, Milo Trunnell, Bella Silva, Ella Parks, Hadley Mills, Ryen Neel, Tayton Izatt, Lacie Schmutz, Henry Harrison, Spencer Richards, and Brianna Davis. Some other Art City students were also helping and in attendance along with their families.

These student-leaders shared their theme for the year and what they do for the school.
The student council helps create unity by teaching the younger students how to sign and sing the Art City Elementary school song.

Superintendent Rick Nielsen mentioned that many adults in the room had a tie to Art City Elementary and could sing the school song along with these energetic students.

What a delightful group that will continue to make a difference for years to come.

Congratulations to Janet Schramm for answering this week’s “Where are we Wednesday?” challenge sponsored by Wiggy Wash.
