Congratulations to our MMHS National Gold Medalists in Welding 2021 coached by Jared Massic. This year the National Champions include Justin Daybell, Oliver Davis, and Seth Christmas. There were 30 teams competing and the students found out via Zoom call that they won it all.
Mr. Massic exclaimed, “National Champs in Welding Fabrication. What a ride! They pulled it off! A crazy build, in a crazy year, in a crazy format. Take nothing for granted.
Enjoy it, you earned it.”
One parent said, “Our families were very fortunate to cross paths with Mr. Massic several years ago. The impact he has had on our sons continues. Welding fabrication isn't just about making good welds; it encompasses a whole lot of other skills. After hours and hours working, these young men undergo great changes and acquire skills that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Thank you, Jared Massic, for helping carve boys into young men.”
