Since DeAnn Nielsen, the current Assistant Principal of Maple Mountain High, will fill the vacancy left by retiree, John “Willie” Penrod, Jeffrey “Whites” Nelson was appointed by the Nebo School Board of Education as Assistant Principal of Maple Mountain High for Nebo School District.

The Nebo School Board of Education appointed Rhet Rowley as Assistant Principal of Diamond Fork Junior High for Nebo School District.

With the appointment of Rhet Rowley as the Assistant Principal of Diamond Fork Junior High, Shauna Shepherd was appointed by the Nebo School Board of Education as Assistant Principal of Springville Junior High.

Nebo School District has been blessed to have 14 educators recognized as Huntsman Awards for Excellence in Education recipients.

Nebo School District’s fifth-grade students had the opportunity to participate in the “Walk for Life” project designed by Spanish Fork City, the Spanish Fork/Salem Chamber, and American Legion. Over 1,200 students in 13 elementary schools were invited to the May 17 and 18 educational day.
