Schools

Payson City is proud of its commitment to excellence in education. Payson schools are under the direction of the Nebo School District. There are five elementary schools, two junior high schools, and a high school. The high school houses a modern auditorium with 1,100 capacity and many outstanding athletic facilities. The fine arts department features a choral music program and two award winning bands, the Marching Band and the Bag Pipe Band.
