After you have downloaded Audacity and iTunes you are ready to record and burn to a Compact Disk.
Step Three: Open Audacity and make an audio recording.
The buttons on this work the same as most recorders do.
If you are recording it should look something like this.
You need to Export this to your computer as a wav file.
Find a good place on your computer to save the file where you will be able to find it easily. (Wav files can also be used on applications such as Power Point.)
You are done with Audacity now. You need to go to the folder that contains your wav file now and open it with iTunes.
After you right click a menu will open.
Be sure that you remember the name of the file so that you can find it on iTunes.
You cannot burn a disk from the Music Library so you need to move a copy of your file to a playlist.
Move your mouse over the file, hold down the left button, drag it to the playlist that you want to put it in, release the left button.
Select the playlist with your recording.
You need a CD-R Recordable Compact Disk, any brand will do.
When iTunes finishes the disk can be played on any CD player. Good Luck!!!
