Goalview Tutorials: How to move a student from General Ed to Special Ed.

The students used in these tutorial situations are fictional. The highest possible care has been taken to maintain the confidentiality of actual students on Goalview.

| If you have a new student that has not been in Special Education previously you will need to move them from General Ed to Special Ed.
Select Gen Ed Student Basic Data. |

| Select the student. |
 |
| Select Edit. |
 |
| Under Placement for "Student Name", select Special Education, Optional General Education from the Educational Program pull down menu. Special Education, No General Education would only be used when the student has no access to any General Education. |

| Select Save |
 |
| After it finishes saving select Back to Goals . |
 |
| Select IEP or Notice of Meeting. |
 |
| Your student is now available to do a Notice of Meeting or IEP. |
 |
| Until the SCRAM in sent to the Special Ed Office and entered in SIS this student will be returned to Regular Ed each time Goalview is updated by SIS. |
