Julie Beckham - Special Education Teacher I received a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from BYU in August 2000 and finished my master's degree in Special Education from CSU Dominguez Hills in May 2005. I began teaching students with special needs in Downey, California in October 2000. After six fun years there, I moved to Springville and began teaching Resource at Park Elementary in August 2006. At the end of that school year, I transferred to Riverview Elementary to teach Resource. I love teaching Special Ed and think Resource is the perfect job for me. |

Cynthia Sumsion - Self Contained Special Education Teacher I was born and raised in Salt Lake City. I attended USU for 1 year. I received a BA in Political Science and Early Childhood Ed. from the U of U. After teaching 1st grade for a year in Rexburg, I returned to the U where I certified in Resource and LD. I received my BD certification from BYU. (That dates me!) Several years after coming to Nebo, I completed my M.Ed. from the U of U in Special Ed. One of the best things I've been able to do is attend 2 years of the Utah State Mentor Academy. I live in Springville with my four fur-bearing/4-legged children. |
