Loralene Edvalson - Self Contained Special Education Teacher (UEI) I grew up in Payson, UT, which is where I live currently. I have been with Nebo School District for the past three school years as a paraeducator in a self-contained classroom at Payson Middle School. I attended Utah Valley State College(UVSC) where I received my Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Psychology. While at UVSC I applied and was accepted to the Special Education Licensure Program at Brigham Young University, I will receive my license in April of 2005. I will be teaching at Santaquin Elementary in the self-contained unit for the 2004-2005 school year. |

Jennifer Waters - Self Contained Special Education Teacher (UEI) I have been working for Nebo School District since August of 1996 (almost 10 years). I graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Recreational Therapy in August of 1995. I started working with the District as a Special Education Technician in their first autistic preschool at Park View Elementary. When it closed down I worked at Larsen Elementary for four years (two years as a Skill Building Technician, and two years as a P.E. Planning Time Technician). During my last year at Larsen Elementary I went through the B.Y.U. Special Education Licensure Program. I was hired to work at the Park View Elementary U.E.I. unit and my class has then since moved to Santaquin where I have been for the last two and a half years. I live in Santaquin with my husband Shane and our five children (three girls and two boys). |
