Sharee Swenson - Special Education Teacher Sharee Swenson graduated from Brigham Young University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. In 1990 she earned her Resource Endorsement from Brigham Young University. She began teaching Special Education in 1990 at Salem Elementary. In 2005 she earned her ESL Endorsement through Brigham Young University. In 2006 she moved to Foothills Elementary and currently teaches 4th, 5th, and 6th graders with mild/moderate disabilities.

Susan Hereth - Special Education Teacher Susan Hereth is a resident of Salem, Utah and a graduate of BYU in Special Education in 1996. She has worked for the Nebo School District for five years with special ed. students, four of those years at Salem Elementary as a technician in the UEI(severe profound)unit. This year she is working half days as the resource teacher for the first grade. She and her husband of 36 years, have eight children and thirteen grandchildren. |

Jody Tobler - Special Education Preschool Teacher I began my career teaching Special Education at Kahuku Elementary on the island of Oahu, HI. Although Utah doesn't have balmy weather and beautiful beaches it does have its positive points. For one, this is where I learned about Early Intervention. I have taught Special Ed Preschool for Nebo School District for eight years now. I am currently working at Spanish Oaks Elementary and can't think of a better career to have. I love being an advocate for the children who don't yet have words to speak for themselves and for the opportunity I have of helping parents find the means to advocate for their children both through education in the school system and in their homes and communities. |
