| Biography:
- Growing up in California prepared me taught me the importance
of diversity and understanding. My parents always impressed upon
me the importance of education and caring.
- After graduating from BYU with a B.S. degree in Psychology,
my family and I entered the military. I had the opportunity to
serve our country in Germany (before the wall came down), Turkey,
Scotland, Italy, Belgium, Korea, Colorado, and at the National
Training Center in the high desert of California. While in the
military I completed a Masters in Public Administration from Golden
Gate University and became Airborne (parachute) qualified.
- In 1993, my family and I decided that we would leave the Army.
Both my wife (Kimberly, SPED teacher at Sage Creek Elementary)
and I then earned Master’s in Special Education degrees
from the University of Colorado. We also decided to come to Utah
to be closer to family.
- I worked as a Special Education teacher for 6 years (3 in Colorado
and 3 in Utah) and then returned to the University of Utah to
complete my certification as a School Psychologist. I have been
fortunate to work with great faculty and students in Payson, Spanish
Fork and Springville. I love working with people and helping them
see their talents and strengths.
- I now also have the honor of being a grandfather to two handsome
grandsons. My hobbies include playing with the boys and riding
my Harley (therapy).
- District Assignments: Traumatic Brain Injury Team
