Swim Team

Organization:

Last night the Salem Hills High School Swim team had an awesome meet where they took on Uintah and Ben Lomond in a showdown at Uintah. The women's team took 1st place over all. Here are some highlights:

For the Women:

200yd Medley Relay: 1st place (Team Members: Emily Bell, Celsie Long, Elisa Elder, Julia Waterman)
200yd Free Relay: 2nd place (Team members: Heather Bolz, Alicia Romare, Emily Tuttle, Ally Duffin)
400 yd Free Relay: 1st place (Team members: Julia Waterman, Emily Bell, Celsie Long, Elisa Elder)

Celsie Long took: 2nd in the 200 yd Freestyle & 2nd in the 100 yd Freestyle
Emily Bell took: 3rd in the 200 yd Freestyle & 3rd in the 100 yd Freestyle
Ally Duffin took: 1st in the 200 IM & 1st in the 100 yd Breaststroke
Julia Waterman took: 1st in the 50 yd Freestyle & 1st in the 100 yd Freestyle
Elisa Elder took: 2nd in the 50 Freestyle & 1st in the 500 yd Freestyle
Alicia Romare took: 1st in the 100 yd Backstroke
Sunny Christensen took: 2nd in the 100 yd Backstroke
Makenna Batty took: 3rd in the 100 yd Backstroke

For the Men:

200 yd Medley Relay: 4th place (Team Members: Kyle Cannon, Junya Minamiyama, Danny Christensen, Connor Olsen)
200 yd Free Relay: 3rd place (Team Members: Danny Christensen, Connor Olsen, Klye Cannon, Junya Minamiyama)
400 yd Free Relay: 4th place (Team Members: Michael Haskell, Cameron Johnson, Blake Meservy, Jacob Ashton)

Danny Christensen took: 3rd in the 200yd Freestyle
Junya Minamiyama took: 1st in the 50 yd Freestyle & 2nd in the 100 yd Breastroke

All of the swimmers did a great job. Go Skyhawks!

ACT Prep Class

Organization:

The December ACT Prep class has been canceled. Any students already registered for the class can go to the Financial Office to receive a refund or they can use that money for the ACT prep class being held prior to the April test.

FCCLA Members

Organization:

All FCCLA members - our next field trip has been scheduled - we have made arrangements to attend the Nutcracker Ballet and visit the Festival of Trees on Thursday, December 3rd. So, see Mrs. Hansen before the Thanksgiving break to pick up your permission form and get your name on the excuse list. The cost is $10 - what a deal! Remember all detentions must be made up before you can be excused from school.

Lip Sync

Organization:

Attention all students participating in the lip sync. You must be attendance eligible from last term to participate or you wont be able to participate. So make up any detentions you need.
