Shadow Mountain summer camp runs 9 concurent sessions beginning in June and running through the first week of July (4 boys only sessions and 5 girls only sessions). Camp is staffed by 9 full time teachers and counselors. Students stay in one of two cabins, there is running water, electricity, and flush toilets. The camp is situated on 40 beautiful acres up the left fork of Hobble Creek Canyon (about 25 minutes from downtown Springville, Utah).
School Orientations will be scheduled and completed from March through April 2008. The orientation consists of a presentation, video, and a short time for questions and answers. All Fifth grade students will be given registration information to bring home. This information is available online by clicking the General Information and Registration/Forms links.
(Registration is on a first come / first serve basis.) The Shadow Mountain experience is for those 5th grade students currently enrolled in Nebo School District. Cost is $75.00 make checks payable to Shadow Mountain. Walk up registration will be held at the following locations beginning at 8:00 a.m.:
- Spanish Fork Area Schools: Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at the Park School (90 N. 600 E. Sp. Fork)
- Springville Area Schools: Wednesday, April 30, 2008- at Grant Building (105 S. 400 E. Springville)
- Payson Area Schools: Thursday, May 1, 2008 - at Taylor School (92 S. 500 W. Payson)

Transportation: Participants will travel to and from Shadow Mountain on District school buses. The transportation schedule for this area is as follows:
Children leaving on a Monday will meet at their respective area meeting sites at 8:00 a.m. and return to the same school site by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Children leaving on a Thursday will meet at their respective area meeting site at 8:00 a.m. And return to the same school site by 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. All Combined Area Sessions will meet at the Grant Building at 8:00 a.m. and will return by 3:00 p.m.
Area meeting and drop of sites will be as follows:
For the Payson Area Boys and Girl Sessions we will meet at Wilson School,
(590 W. 500 S., Payson).
For the Spanish Fork and Salem Area Boys and Girl Sessions we will meet at Brockbank School,
(340 W. 500 N., Spanish Fork).
For the Springville/Mapleton Area Boys and Girl Sessions we will meet at the Grant Building (105 S. 400 E., Springville).
For All Area Combined Boys and Girl Sessions we will all meet at the Grant Building (105 S. 400 E., Springville).
