7th Grade CTE students participate in Career Day. Instead of regular classes, students spent the day listening to and visiting with professionals from a wide variety of fields. Guest speakers spoke about the importance of education, different duties expected in a variety of jobs, and the potential pay scale of different career choices. Many speakers brought samples of their work. For example, Veronica Michaels brought prom dresses, Startup Candy Company brought samples of "flower-flavored" candy. Other guest speakers included a mortician, pilot, pharmacist, dentist, R.N. and stock broker. Our own Richard Huff and Richard Trimble were included among the list of guest speakers.
