New Teacher Portfolio

What is it?

The Nebo EYE Portfolio is a vehicle for collaboration between new teachers and their mentors. As such, many questions about the portfolio can be answered by the school mentors. Also, feel free to contact Annette Evans by email or phone (361-0313) with any additional questions or concerns.

New Teacher Mentoring

What is it?

A new teacher is more likely to be successful if they have the guidance of a tenured teacher. Nebo School District's Mentoring program provides this assistance.

Career Ladder

What is it?

State funding provided to compensate and encourage development and advancement of education staff. It available to Certified Teachers on step 4 or above, with at least one year of experience at Nebo School District.

UEN Professional Development

What is it?

Courses sponsored by Utah Education Network. Includes some online courses, and classroom learning, designed to help teachers improve.

PBS TeacherLine

What is it?

Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, TeacherLine is pioneering a new and innovative model for on-demand, high quality, and standards-based teacher professional development. The online courses are facilitated by trained educators. Visit the national PBS TeacherLine site for course schedules and costs.
