Rules |
1.
Hats are not to be worn during school hours (Nebo School District
Board Policy JFCA).
2. Wearing of bandannas, headgear or any article of clothing
or jewelry bearing any gang symbols, names, initials, insignias,
or anything else which signals gang affiliation and/or is worn
for the purpose of signifying gang membership will result in
possible suspension or other disciplinary action (Nebo School
District Board Policy JFCA/EC).
3. Flowers, balloons, etc. are not to be delivered to students
during school hours. There is not room to store them in the
lockers and they cannot be taken to class.
4. The use of improper or profane language is prohibited. Offenders
may be excluded from class or suspended from school.
5. All faculty and staff are to be addressed by Miss, Mrs.,
Ms., or Mr. We expect every staff member to be treated with
respect and dignity, just as the students should receive the
respect of the staff.
6. Students are expected to be careful of all school property
and in no way mar or disfigure it. Any student defacing school
property will be liable for its repair or replacement.
7. No food or drinks purchased in the lunchroom are to be taken
out of the lunchroom. No food or drinks will be allowed in B,
C, or D academic halls. Food and drinks purchased by students
off campus are not allowed in the school.
8. Items which detract from the educational climate of the school
will not be allowed in the building. No radios, cassette or
disc playsers, or Walkman-type headphones are allowed in the
school.
9. Students are not to cut in line at lunch.
10. PDA (Public Display of Affection) will not be allowed in
the school.
11. Students from outside the school area visiting with relatives
will not be allowed to attend school. Visitors are not allowed
unless they have a specific appiontment with staff members and
are authorized by the office.
12. Substitute teachers will be treated as guests in our school.
Students should act especially courteous and well-behaved toward
them. Failure to cooperate will result in disciplinary action.
13. The school administration may establish additional rules
and guidelines for the benefit of all. |
