Peer Leaders are a carefully selected group of students who work closely with the school counselors to help with conflict resolution and welcome new new students. In December 2003 the Peer Leaders held a fundraiser to raise money for orphans in Equador. Mr. Sorenson took the $1,029 to Equador and bought vitamins, toys, a goat for milk, and a building with bathrooms and classrooms for the orphans. The Peer Leaders did many things to encourage the students to donate such as making posters and a movie. They also held a contest to see which home room class could donate the most money.
