January 2019 Nebo PEAK Award Winners
The Nebo Education Foundation gives gifts in the form of grants to various Nebo teachers across the district.
Congratulations to the following teachers that continue to bless the lives of students.
Recently, Springville High’s band members and band director, Ben Major, received two anonymous donations, one worth $10,000 and the other worth $15,000. Lana Hiskey, executive director of the Nebo Education Foundation, presented the donations to the very excited recipients.
The Utah Highway Patrol awarded Nebo School District the "Gold Award" for the safety and reliability of Nebo’s buses. Twice annually, bus interiors, exteriors, and undercarriages are inspected by Utah Highway Patrol officials.
Congratulations to Spanish Oaks Elementary, in Nebo School District, and their school PR team for earning the Nebo #Hashtag Award. This award is given to the school that communicates to their parents and students, in a variety of ways, the events and important news items happening at school.
The lights are strung, the snow is sparkling all around, and there’s a bit more cheer in peoples’ countenances.
