Kids Cause Making a Difference

Kids Cause started over 18 years ago and continues to make a difference in the lives of children. It began as a way to meet the serious needs of students and now is able to provide emergency dental and vision care, hearing aids, clothing and school supplies.

Scattered Power Outage

Parents in Spanish Fork have been notified regarding the current power outage at scattered schools in Spanish Fork. After evaluating the situation, as of 11:35am, we feel that it is in the best interest of students for the school to remain open and operate on a normal schedule. Bus routes will be running on a normal schedule.

The schools affected are Park Elementary, Larsen Elementary, Riverview Elementary, SFJHS, DFJHS, and Landmark.

Nebo Orchestra Students Performed Utah Symphony

Three students from the Nebo Youth Philharmonic Orchestra including Shaylee Balls, violinist from Salem Hills High; Kyle Hutchings, bass clarinet player from Spanish Fork High; and Diana Parkin, oboe player from Payson High were selected to perform with the Utah Symphony in a special All-Star evening held May 15, 2012. This event features selected students from youth symphonies throughout the state of Utah.  Students are selected on their musicianship and dedication to the groups in which they perform. All three students have been members of the Nebo Youth Philharmonic for three years.

Chris Roberts Awarded Governor’s Leadership in the Arts

Chris Roberts was awarded Governor's Leadership in the Arts Awards at the Mountain West Arts Conference. Conference attendees viewed a photo collage of Chris in action at Rees Elementary, various conferences and universities throughout the state of Utah and the country.

Governor Gary Herbert gave Chris a beautiful pottery vase and a letter of commendation which says:
