Governor Herbert Honors Robert Nay with Award

On October 1, 2012, Maple Mountain High School student, Robert Nay, received a special award at the groundbreaking for the new Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point. Governor Gary Herbert presented Robert with a “Curious Kid” award for his work creating the App “Bubble Ball.”                   

Robert Nay is the founder of Nay Games and the teen who created "Bubble Ball." His game was the #1 free App at the Apple App store for nearly two weeks in January 2011.

Robert has been featured on "Good Morning America," "CNN Newsroom," and many Utah news stations. Articles about him have appeared in the "Wall Street Journal" and numerous technology magazines. Robert presented about his game for the Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum, LaunchUp, and a statewide convention of librarians. He was a featured guest at the Utah Coalition for Educational Technology (UCET) meeting in 2011. Recently, Robert was selected for Forbes magazine "30 Under 30."
