175 of Experience – Five Principals to Retire From Nebo This Year

Submitted by lana.hiskey on

Five principals from the Nebo School District will retire this year, totaling 175 years of service in education. Principals Natalie Call (Sage Creek Elementary in Springville), Kim Barlow (Orchard Hills Elementary in Santaquin), Garth Bird (Goshen Elementary in Goshen), Mark Balzotti (Cherry Creek Elementary in Springville), and Ed Schollenberger (Foothills Elementary in Salem) have served the district with strong leadership and a focus on student learning.

“I am filled with conflicting emotions as I prepare to ring the bell for the last time,” Principal Natalie Call said. “I am thrilled at the prospect of being able to take some time to travel, golf, read, and to explore the adventures and possibilities of the future. However, at the same time, my heart aches to think that I am at the end of the amazing journey I have had spending my adult life with children.”

All five of the retiring principals have been assets to the district, thank you for your time, talents, and expertise!
