On Tuesday, September 27, 2011, a Marine Jazz Combo stationed in San Diego paid a visit to Payson High to perform and put on a clinic for approximately 150 students. The purpose of the tour is to let students know that a Marine Band might be an option after high school. The band discussed a variety of music careers available to musicians and answered students' questions.
