Matt Christensen – Principal of Spanish Fork High
The Nebo School Board of Education appointed Matt Christensen as the Principal of Spanish Fork High School. 

Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Driver Education from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Southern Utah University.

Mr. Christensen served the last three years as Principal of Spanish Fork Junior High and four years as the Assistant Principal of Spanish Fork High. He taught world civilization, US history, world geography, sports psychology, weight training, advanced conditioning, and driver’s education. He also coached football for 11 years with 6 of those years as head coach. He served as assistant basketball coach and assistant girls’ golf coach.

An administrator said, “Matt is outstanding. He works well with people whether it is with students, teachers, parents, or other administrators. Matt can be trusted with the most sensitive issues. His work ethic and desire to make a difference is unparalleled. He has outstanding communication skills and is open to new ideas and practices. He has the reputation of having students’ best interests at heart.”

One of Mr. Christensen’s mottos is: “Make each day your masterpiece!” He said, “I love the fact that each day I can try to make a difference in someone else’s life. I enjoy working with other professional educators with a common goal to help kids succeed.” 

Matt is married to Jenifer, and they have three children. He enjoys spending time with his family golfing, camping, boating, and skiing together.
