Nebo School District held a district Junior High Weight Lifting Competition a couple of weeks ago. The competition included junior high students in the seventh through ninth grades and was held at Mt. Nebo Junior High School (MNJHS) in Payson.

The staff running the competition were MNJHS Athletic Director Lynn Harmer, MNJHS Coach Ben Marziale, Mapleton Junior High School (MJHS) Athletic Director Dave Jex, and Diamond Fork Junior High School (DFJHS) Athletic Director Brian Argyle with many other staff helping in each category. The categories were military press, bench press, leg press, pull ups, and a shuttle run.
