Nebo Transportation's Friendly Competition

Nebo School District’s transportation department is having a friendly competition to see which compound can collect the most food for needy families in Nebo School District. 

Nicci Forbush, located in the South Compound, organized the event and is excited to see so many participating. She is grateful for all the support they have received from businesses and individuals. Nicci said, “Turkeys, hams, and baskets are being counted and organized to get out to drivers and technicians in need.”

The North compound was busy as well stacking all the goods that had come in so far. DaraLee Jackson said, “Our transportation department is the best district in the state. Transportation is fun. When we work together, we are unstoppable. As a group transportation is awesome!”

Whichever compound wins, both compounds are willing to support each other in this great cause of helping others in need. 

Any extra food and supplies will go to Nebo School District’s pantry called the Dragon Pantry. The Dragon Pantry would gladly accept any food, new clothing items, and any school or hygiene supplies. All donations made to the Dragon Pantry/Nebo's Cupboard are used to help students and families in Nebo School District.
