Mr. Steven Haderlie, Springville High Science Teacher, Honored

Steven Haderlie, science teacher at Springville High, won the Monty McMahon Award from the Association for Distance Education and Independent Learning at BYU for his Honors Chemistry course.  This award recognizes excellence in K-12 Distance Education courses.  Mr. Haderlie serves on the high school faculty for BYU Independent Study.

“Mr. Haderlie’s course is pedagogically sound, rich with relevant media, and represents the best in distance education opportunities,” stated Tony Nisse, Associate Instructional Designer at BYU Independent Study. “Dr. Haderlie is an excellent instructor, and are glad that the youth in your school and our distance education students have the opportunity to learn from such a master teacher.”
