Brigham Young University’s McKay Today Magazine, Spring 2012 Edition, featured Nebo School District’s East Meadows Elementary in the article titled “The average 8- to 18-year-old spends 7 hours & 38 minutes using media every day”.

East Meadows Elementary previously presented to the Nebo School Board of Education about their integration of technology for 21st Century Learners.  Some of these technologies included: iPods, iPads, Apps, document cameras, Star boards, and Smartboards. East Meadows’ students tested Nebo School Board Members about their knowledge on science questions using Student Response Systems (Clickers). Clickers provide immediate feedback to both teacher and students.

East Meadows Elementary is just one example of how Nebo schools are integrating technology in the classroom. Many schools have applied for technology grants through the Nebo Education Foundation to help fund some of these essential technologies.
