Submitted by lana.hiskey on

United Way’s annual Day of Caring showed how local volunteers can unite and impact their community in a large way on Wednesday, September 8. Thirty-six service projects were performed across Utah County with more than 40,500 hours of completed service estimated.

The Adobe Corporation sent a team of individuals to partner with Nebo School District and give service to Nebo’s summer camp facility, Shadow Mountain.

Adobe Corporation helped with painting decks, cleaning of the archery unit, and making a suitable staircase on the trail at Shadow Mountain.

Payson Senior Citizens, Payson City, and Vivint Company also gave service to Barnett Elementary in Payson by painting activities on the asphalt such as hop scotch, rulers in meters, and the map of the United States.

Nebo District wants to thank United Way, Adobe Corporation, Payson Senior Citizens, Payson City, and Vivint for their hundreds of hours to make this day of service a reality.
