Kendall Call Appointed Assistant Principal Mt. Nebo Junior

The Nebo School Board of Education appointed Kendall Call as Assistant Principal of Mt. Nebo Junior for Nebo School District.

Mr. Call received his master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Brigham Young University and his undergraduate degree in Aviation Science from Utah Valley State College.

Mr. Call has worked eight years in Nebo School District. He taught photography and television broadcasting and advised student government at both Spanish Fork High and Salem Hills High. He was department chair of Career Technology Education (CTE) at Salem Hills High and has served internships at Rees Elementary, Pleasant Grove High, and Mapleton Junior High through the Leadership Preparation Program (LPP).
                       
Mrs. Suzanne Kimball said, “Without question, Kendall sees the balance between management and vision, understanding that the day-to-day workings of a school is essential in order to create a climate and culture that will challenge itself to continually improve to meet the school’s mission. Kendall is a leader who will make decisions based on a collective vision for improvement and evaluate those decisions from numerous angles.”

Mr. Call stated, “I firmly believe schools and staff must evolve and progress to meet student needs in this 21st century. Technology is progressing in ways never seen before, and I know with my technical abilities and understanding of Professional Learning Communities that I can help today’s teachers prepare students to become tomorrow’s leaders.”

One of Mr. Call’s mottos is: “If you think you can or can’t, you’re right!”

Kendall enjoys radio controlled cars, planes, and boats as well as his DeLorean. He is married to Sarah. They have four children and reside in Payson.
