Sue Bell: Custodian, Springville Junior

Sue Bell Custodian Springville Jr.Sue Bell is the most outstanding custodian! We are continually amazed at the endless list of tasks that she performs. She undoubtedly goes above and beyond her responsibilities. Our school building is old, but Sue keeps it so clean and in good repair. I have witnessed her scrubbing the stairs of our main entrance on her hands and knees. She disinfects all of our doorknobs, deals with student locker problems, puts decorations in our faculty room, and takes care of the grounds. On snowy days, she comes to work early to clear all of the sidewalks around the school before students and faculty arrive. The thing we love most about Sue is the way that she cares about our students!

Pat Spencer: Sweeper, Payson Junior

Pat Spencer Sweeper Payson Jr.Pat is an outstanding adult sweeper who is dedicated to her job. During the last five years, Pat has been the most efficient, hardworking, and dedicated custodian. Pat often helps students who have to do community service. She is a positive role model for these students. She teaches them the value of hard work and the importance of completing a task. Pat always has a contagious smile and a listening ear. She truly enjoys the ride and knows that happiness is the key to success. We love Pat at our school and all that she does for students. Our school would not be the same without Pat.

Paula Darling: Secretary, District Office

Paula Darling Secretary District OfficePaula is the first one you see and hear when you contact the District Office. Paula conducts herself in a professional and responsible manner. Her positive attitude with all district employees and patrons adds a definite cheerfulness and charm to the district. Paula lets people know that she genuinely cares for them. No matter how busy she gets or how crazy the phones, she is always pleasant and cheerful. Paula has a great sense of humor--it's rare to talk with her and not get a good laugh. Paula adds charm, class, and enthusiasm to Nebo District.

Kim Hudson: Technical Services, District Office

Kim Hudson Technical Services District Office

Kim is one of the sweetest people ever. She never makes me feel stupid, even if I just have my NUMBER LOCK on. She is good to teach and train in a way that most understand. Each time I have talked with her, I feel better after our conversation. She just makes others want to be a better person. How lucky we all are to work with someone who builds people up in every conversation.

Brooks Ward: Campus Supervisor, Salem Hills High

Brooks Ward Campus Supervisor Salem Hills High

Brooks was the campus supervisor at Spanish Fork Junior High School a few years ago. He is respected by both the students and staff. He is dedicated, hard working, and always happy to help. Now, he’s at Salem Hills High, and has the same great reports.

Camille Canto: Food Services, District Office

Camille Canto Food Services District Office

Camille has been employed by the Child Nutrition program for 22 years. She is a "Jill of all Trades". She is a true representative of Nebo School District. She loves the students and tackles problems willingly and is able to resolve issues with a smile. Camille serves as the committee chair for the School Nutrition Association of Utah (SNAU) where she offers her talents as the U-Talk editor (a professional publication) that she compiles and distributes to over a thousand SNAU members throughout the state. Camille is loved by faculty, fellow staff members, and students.

Bob Lewis: Bus Driver, Transportation

Bob Lewis Driver Transportation

Bob does a great job driving our athletic teams all over the state. However, he is much more than a driver to our athletic teams. He gets to know each one of the athletes on a personal level, and he knows each coach well. He makes the trips fun and truly cares about the kids and the outcome. He gives coaches pointers or even helps coach if a coach is not there. Bob even knows the standings of each team and the importance of each game. When we travel with Bob, he is one of us. To the students, Bob is a positive role model and teaches students to succeed in whatever they do.

Marilee Balls: Educational Technician, Diamond Fork Junior

Marilee Balls Educational Technician Diamond Fork Jr.

Marilee Balls is an amazing special education classroom technician! She is reliable and works well with a variety of students. Marilee came to our parent night performance to be on stage with "her kids" and assisted them with their roles in the class play. Her dedication allows the special education students to experience the fine arts classes. She is incredibly patient and is always pleasant, even when dealing with outbursts or "wardrobe malfunctions"! Marilee works well under pressure and is even first aid certified. She helps our class through emergencies and surprises and keeps us smiling when the days get long. If she sees something that needs to be done, she does it. If she sees a student in need, she's there for them. Marilee is one of the most professional people ever.
