The Spanish Fork Rotary instigated a giving tree for students in need in Nebo School District. Business and individuals donated clothes, food, shoes, hygiene supplies and other items to the Dragon Pantry to help bring Christmas to families in need.

“This is our second year doing this,” Tracy Frandsen said. Tracy and his wife Pat helped head up the program this year. “We’ve received almost double from last year and this makes us excited to do it again.”

The Landmark High School Food Bank, known as the Dragon Pantry, has been in service since 2014. This resource is available to families and students in need in Nebo School District boundaries.

Monica Hullinger, program director, explained how much this service benefits people.

“When we find out about a family in need at Christmas time we can invite them to look through our pantry and pick out the things they need. We are very grateful for all who donated this Christmas season.”

Nebo School District thanks Spanish Fork Rotary, Spanish Fork/Salem Chamber, and all those businesses that donated to our students in need.
