Spanish Fork High FFA Creates Beautiful Christmas Tree in Memory of Levi Sampson

Submitted by lana.hiskey on

Spanish Fork FFA gave a gift of love to the Festival of Trees held in Sandy Utah. This year our chapter did a tree in memory of Levi Sampson who lost his life in an auto-pedestrian accident this summer.   Students donated over 40 pairs of jeans to help with the decorations of the tree. In addition over 40 FFA members spent time making ornaments. There was an activity and classes that helped to put everything together. We would like to thank all of those who made the tree a success.

The officers delivered the tree Monday, November 29 to the South Towne Expo Center. All the donated trees were auctioned off with all the proceeds going to the Primary Children's Medical Center. This year SFHS FFA's tree was purchased by an Anonymous sponsor for $1050. It has been great to remember Levi and his spunky attitude. He always wanted everyone to do better and help someone each day. We encourage everyone to find something good that they can do each day.  Do Good and Live for Levi.
