Shea Bradshaw - Assistant Principal of Maple Mountain High

The Nebo School Board of Education appointed Shea Bradshaw as Assistant Principal of Maple Mountain High for Nebo School District.

Shea received his bachelor’s degree in Choral Music from Weber State University and master’s degree in Music Education from Brigham Young University as well as his Administrative License from Southern Utah University. Mr. Bradshaw served as the Dean of Students at Salem Hills High this past year. He taught choir at Box Elder Middle School for ten years and Spanish Fork High for eight years.

Mr. Bradshaw stated, “I love school leadership and making personal connections. Gaining new experiences as a TSA this year has broadened beyond my expectations the many rich and rewarding experiences I’ve had with students over the years.”

A colleague said, “Shea is a leader and knowledgeable. His teaching pedagogy is up to date, and he shares his knowledge in an effective way with others. He goes out of his way to get to know students. Shea is also fluent in Spanish.”

One of Shea's favorite sayings is from Albert Einstein: "Life is like riding a bicycle; to keep your balance you must keep moving."  Shea said, "Work and determination are at the center of all I try to do and teach students.  I'm thrilled to be chosen to work with the amazing staff, students and community at Maple Mountain High School.  Thanks to the administrative staff and other teachers that have already kindly reached out to me! I will do all I can to live up to this high expectation."

Shea is passionate about music, family and the outdoors; particularly cycling (year round), backpacking and avoiding yard work.  He is the lucky husband of Micah Bradshaw (best math teacher ever!) and has two amazing teenagers.
