David Rowe – Elementary Director

The Nebo School Board of Education appointed David Rowe as the Elementary Director for Nebo School District. He received his Bachelor’s of Education and Master’s of Educational Leadership from Brigham Young University.

Currently, Mr. David Rowe is the Mentoring and Evaluation Coordinator for Nebo School District for the past five years. He served as principal of Hobble Creek for two years and as principal of Art City for seven years. Mr. Rowe began his career in education in 1997 as a third-grade teacher in Provo School District. Mr. Rowe has worked fourteen years in Nebo School District and six years in another district.

Mr. Rowe was named the Human Resource Developer of the Year by the Utah Association Elementary School Principals for the state of Utah. 

A colleague stated, “Dave has initiative. He is willing to take on any task and do the job well. He is a strong student advocate. Those that work closely with Dave know of his  genuine care for others. He is committed to the academic, social, and emotional success of every child. Dave is dedicated and a dependable professional.”

Dave responded, “I am so grateful and humbled by this opportunity. There are so many to thank. Julie Warren is an incredible mentor. I love the people of Nebo School District and the direction the district is headed.”

Dave enjoys photography, being outdoors with family, and ATVs. He is married to Deb, and they have six children.
