Superintendent Rick Nielsen presented to the Spanish Fork Rotary about the new Nebo PEAK Center. Nebo District developed architect plan designs and began construction on the Nebo PEAK Center in Salem (the old Neways building) that will be ready for students in the fall of 2017. The 210,000 square foot Nebo PEAK Center will include the following:

  • Career and Technical Education (CTE) Innovations – courses in Industrial Design and Manufacturing, Web Programming and Development, Aviation, Robotics, Home Construction, Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Teacher Education, Digital Media, etc. The Advanced Learning Center that is currently in Springville will be relocated here.
  • An Athletic Fieldhouse – indoor turf, netting, sports flooring, play/practice areas for track, baseball, softball, golf, soccer, football, etc. and storage for many schools to utilize and enjoy.
  • Relocation of the Maintenance Department and the Warehouse from their current locations near the District Office.

Nebo is excited about the prospects this Nebo PEAK Center, in the middle of Nebo School District, will provide to our students, employees, and the community.
