The Utah County Health Department, which includes Nebo's school nurses, will be holding multiple flu and vaccination clinics beginning next week. The following three clinics will be held at Nebo schools.
  • September 27th1:30-5:30 pm at Park View Elementary, 360 S 100 E, Payson
  • October 3rd1:30-5:30 pm at Diamond Fork Junior High, 50 N 900 E, Spanish Fork
  • October 4th1:30-5:30 pm at Cherry Creek Elementary, 484 S 200 E, Springville
The clinics are open to everyone. The attached flier identifies the insurances accepted and the vaccines offered. It also lists other Health Department clinics held in the community.
Please remember that under district policy employees are encouraged to provide certain immunization information (MMR, Tdap, and chicken pox) to the district. During an outbreak, the Health Department may prevent employees who have not provided this information from coming to work. These employees will be placed on unpaid leave during an outbreak. (Note that the policy and the unpaid leave provision apply only to MMR, Tdap, and chicken pox and do not apply to flu shots.) You can provide and update your immunization information by logging in to Nebo Data Apps, hovering over the "Nebo Data Apps" link on the top left, then hovering over "Human Resources" from the dropdown menu, and selecting "Self Recorded Immunization Record."
Employees and dependents covered by the district's health insurance who cannot attend a Health Department clinic may obtain flu shots and vaccinations from a covered provider. To find providers, go to aetna.com and log in to your account, click on Care & Treatment, then click on Find a doctor, pharmacy or facility.
If you have questions, please contact your school nurse or the Human Resources Department.
