District Classified Employee of the Year -- Hope Crandall

Hope Crandall
Educational Technician – Mapleton Elementary

Hope has worked in various capacities at Mapleton Elementary for 26 years. She works with students that struggle with behavior and academics. She is so kind and works tirelessly to help them succeed. The students love her and feel like they each have a grandma in their school. Hope’s tireless service to students and teachers at Mapleton Elementary is so admirable and amazing.  She looks after all children and loves them unconditionally.  

Kamee Diamond
Special Education Services – Spanish Fork Junior High

Kamee is a priceless asset to Nebo. She is on the special education intervention team and is incredibly flexible and handles extremely difficult students. Kamee sees the positive in any situation. She knows just what to do to de-escalate a hostile student. She also knows how to calm a student to keep them from escalating. Kamee is level-headed and makes good decisions in difficult situations that affect children positively. She has an infectious smile and contagious positive attitude.

Ross Johnson
Custodian – Spanish Fork High
Ross goes above and beyond his own work duties. He makes life easier for teachers and students. He is the first to get to school and makes sure all the lights are on, doors are unlocked, and floors clean. He always befriends those students who have no groups to hang with as well as the special needs students. Ross has been known to hand out sweatshirts to students. 

Carrie Christensen
Secretary – Salem Hills High
Ross goes above and beyond his own work duties. He makes life easier for teachers and students. He is the first to get to school and makes sure all the lights are on, doors are unlocked, and floors clean. He always befriends those students who have no groups to hang with as well as the special needs students. Ross has been known to hand out sweatshirts to students. 

Jeremy Luckau
Bus Driver – Transportation
Jeremy drives the special needs route. He is always on time, considerate, and kind. Jeremy is also flexible and a team player. He is always helping others and has been known to take another employee to the doctor after work. Nebo is grateful that Jeremy is a conscientious and safe driver. 

Marlena Losser
Food Service Manager – Payson Junior High
Marlena has worked for Nebo for over 30 years. Students and serving good products are a priority. As a new employee in her kitchen, Marlena lets you know that students should be shown respect and kindness at all times. She is dedicated, professional, and friendly. Marlena cares so much about her lunches, students, and her ladies. She works hard each day to give students a fantastic breakfast and lunch experience. She is even known for her fruit smoothies… Marlena is always smiling and making everyone around her happy. 

Robby Finch
Maintenance
Robby has worked in various areas of the maintenance department since 1993. Currently, he is in carpentry. He has a keen eye and is very skilled with the desks and cabinets he makes throughout Nebo School District. Robby is easy to work with and even-tempered. He is accurate with all his paperwork. Robby is a great employee and good example.
