MMHS choirs and orchestra successfully auditioned for a unique opportunity to offer a solo performance in Carnegie Hall. The preparations for such an experience has tangibly enhanced MMHS’s curriculum this year.

Choir teacher, Cory Mendenhall said, “Our student musicians have accomplished many significant and exciting successes in each of their learning outcomes! We have really enjoyed watching them progress so rapidly, with such depth of knowledge and meaning as they've diligently prepared to offer their solo performance in Carnegie Hall on Saturday, February 13!”

The students performed Gloria, RV589 by Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741). The 30-minute piece contains 12 stunning movements set to compelling Latin texts.
