Two students from Santaquin Elementary started the presentation to the Nebo School Board of Education. Tori Ludlow and Alli Blake on the student council that consists of 32 members discussed their BYU leadership conference. They learned how to be more respectful and responsible. They then shared what the students love about Santaquin Elementary.

The second grade performed a musical number led by Mrs. Hoschouer. Then a group of fourth-grade students danced a pioneer number led by Mrs. Zaugg and Mrs. Snelgrove.

School Community Council Chair, Zelma Nelson, discussed how the Trustland funds finance re-teach and enrich courses to help students that are struggling and students that need more challenging activities.  The funds have also supplemented the take home books and guided reading books.

The students finalized their presentation by stating that “Principal Argyle is funny and thoughtful, and thinks ahead (unless Mr. Kern gets him off schedule, because Mr. Kern is such a good distractor).
