Nebo Adult Education Recognition Night

The Nebo Adult Education Program held their semiannual Recognition Night on Thursday, November 19, at the Landmark High School gymnasium. There were 82 graduates who completed the necessary requirements to earn an Adult Education Secondary Diploma and three students who passed all four sections of the GED (General Education Development). Also honored during the ceremony were 99 students who have achieved at least one level gain in the areas of Reading, Math, and Language. 

Speakers for the evening included Liz Reynolds, Adult Education Assistant Director; John DeGraffenried, Director of Secondary Education; and student speakers Ahmed Alkhafji, Christine Judd, and Nisha Kelly.

The Nebo Adult Education program offers Adult Education Secondary Diploma completion, GED preparation classes in English and Spanish, Adult Basic Education, and ESOL (English Second Other Language) classes.
