2015 Utah Teacher of the Year Finalists Includes Nebo Teacher Michelle Mecham

Our own Michelle Mecham, second-grade teacher at Mt. Loafer Elementary, made the 2015 Utah Teacher of the Year finalist list. She was announced by Interim Utah State Superintendent of Public Instruction Joel Coleman on  September 5, 2014 at a banquet honoring Utah’s district and charter school teachers of the year in Salt Lake City.

Mrs. Mecham teaches second grade and is an outstanding educator, team player, employee, and extraordinary person!    Mrs. Mecham is the epitome of humility, generosity, kindness, hard work, and devotion towards teaching.  She works extra hard, putting in many hours to create the best learning environment she can.  Her students love her and the faculty has the utmost respect for her and all that she does!
