Students Experience Utah Symphony - Answer to Wednesday's Challenge

On May 20, 2014 four student's from the Nebo Youth Philharmonic (district honor orchestra) performed side-by-side with the Utah Symphony. It was part of the Utah Symphony's All-Star Evening concert at Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City. Selected students from 11 state-wide youth symphonies performed. Students from Nebo were Westley Cook, Tate Grimshaw, James Carrington and Jessica Cory.

They performed Academic Festival Overture (Brahms), March from the Love for Three Oranges (Prokofiev) and Capriccio Italien (Tchaikovsky).

The Nebo Youth Philharmonic Directors are Jamie Blake, Paul Wells, Clint Roberts and Julie Christofferson.
