Orchard Hills Elementary Students Delight Nebo School Board

Submitted by lana.hiskey on

Orchard Hills Elementary students delighted the Nebo School Board of Education by presenting musical pieces from their first sixth-grade orchestra and a short vignette from the “Christmas Carol” from their drama students.

Principal Ryan Murray thanked the Nebo School Board for this opportunity and exclaimed that Orchard Hills Elementary was located in the most beautiful location with the prettiest view. But the reason that Orchard Hills is special is because of its parent support. Parents have orchestrated and supported four large events this past couple of months including the Fall Festival, PTA Carnival, SEPs and the Halloween parade.

Some amazing Orchard Hills’ statistics include 95 percent parent attendance to the SEPs conference, 132 students participate in the after school 4H program, and there are 12 active clubs all from a student body of 774 students.

Congratulations to Kim Crews, Mt. Nebo Junior High, winner of this week's "Where Are We Wednesday?" contest.  Thank you to Wiggy Wash for sponsoring this contest.
