This year is the start of new beginnings. All of us: students, parents, teachers and staff, are experiencing the first year of Mount Nebo Junior High School. Everything we do will be firsts. I am optimistic that as we start a clean slate, that the future holds success for each and every one of us.

Norman Vincent Peale, stated, "All successful people have a goal. No one can get anywhere unless he knows where he wants to go." The goal for MNJHS is that every student be provided a well balanced learning environment. Students will succeed through individual excellence. Something new to help with this goal is the Advisory Period, A.P. This is to provide each student a mentor teacher that will be actively involved in his/her success. Teachers will monitor homework assignments, attendance, and grades. This will provide a "check and balance" in each students' journey towards excellence.

Tom Clancey stated: "We cannot fail to win unless we fail to try." This year as we try to reach individual student though mentoring, we will make the effort for all students to succeed. There may be bumps along the way, but we will learn from these bumps and push to make this a successful learning experience for all student of MNJHS.
