Business Courses Offered
Keyboarding
In the beginning semester keyboarding course, the student will master keying by touch on a computer keyboard. Correct fingering and good techniques will receive primary emphasis; speed and accuracy will be given secondary emphasis. The fourth row numbers and symbols and 10-key pad will also be taught.
Computers in Business
A business simulation that will incorporate business concepts including, marketing, desktop publishing, and web page design.
Prerequisite: Keyboarding
Computer Technology
An introduction to computer application software that encompasses document processing, spreadsheets, and presentations. An understanding of ethics and use of operating systems, information resources, and electronic mail is included. Skills gained will be demonstrated by creating a project for a different content area.
