AHSC
(Adult High School Completion)

This program is for adults who do not have a secondary school diploma demonstrating a functioning level of at least 9.0 in at least one of the following content areas: reading, writing or math.  Adult education completion programs provide academic instruction in Board-approved courses leading to an Adult Education Secondary Diploma.

GED (General Educational Development)

The General Educational Development Test was originally developed in 1942 to assess and quantify skills of returning WWII servicemen. Now the GED measures the major and lasting outcomes and concepts associated with a traditional four-year high school education. The test consists of questions in five subject areas: social studies, language arts/writing, language arts/reading, science, and mathematics. A GED Certificate is awarded in Utah upon successful completion of the five tests.

Nebo Adult Education offers GED individualized help (tutoring) to prepare for the test or for those who are ready to take the GED test, but want a quick GED Practice Test review to improve their test skills.
