The Spanish Fork/Salem Chamber of Commerce Voted Nebo School District as Business of the Year for 2017

Scott Barlow with Revere Health Selected for the Business Education Partner Award - Answer to Wednesday Challenge

Scott Barlow has been an amazing partner to Nebo School District for many, many years. He became a Nebo Education Foundation Board member in 2001 and even served as President. He and his wife, Collette, served many hours in the schools in Salem and Spanish Fork. 

Mental Health Parent Awareness Nights

Nebo School District will be hosting a series of Parent Awareness Nights. The topics of discussion will include mental health and safety planning with youth. Several community service providers will be present to answer question and help individuals to access services. See the event flyer for more information.

KSL Teacher Feature Shareka Gregory, Sierra Bonita, - Answer to Wednesday Challenge

Nebo School District’s teacher Shareka Gregory, a teacher at Sierra Bonita Elementary, was nominated and won the KSL Teacher Feature.

Mrs. Gregory was nominated by parent, Ashley Atwater. She said in part:
“When my daughter was able to turn in a request form last May, the first teacher on her list was Mrs. Gregory. I knew nothing about her or her teaching style, but my daughter was drawn to her. As this school year approached, she celebrated as she found out who her teacher was. She was so excited to start school and be in Mrs. Gregory's class.

Larsen Elementary Enthralls Nebo School Board of Education

Principal Cami Thomas introduced Larsen Elementary staff and students to the Nebo School Board of Education by stating they were excited to share the great opportunities at Larsen Elementary this year.

Hally Stubbs, sixth-grade student council, presented how the students are becoming leaders through learning about how to accept others, respect all, show success, empower self, and notice needs. The school celebrates successes each month in an awards assembly.
