The Nebo School Board of Education appointed Heather Balli as principal of Meadow Brook Elementary for Nebo School District.
Ms. Balli served as an administrative intern at Westside Elementary, Springville Junior High, and Mountain View High this past year. She served as a school facilitator and intern coach at Westside and Spring Lake Elementary the two years before. Mrs. Balli taught fifth and sixth grade at Spring Lake Elementary for over five years and worked in Nebo School District for nine.

Jessica Pratt Wins Silver at Largest International Science Fair
Published by lana.hiskey on Wed, 05/10/2017 - 4:49pmCongratulations to Jessica Pratt from Maple Mountain High School who competed at International Sustainable World Energy, Engineering, Environment Project (ISWEEEP), the largest international science fair in the world this past weekend, May 3-8, 2017, in Houston Texas. Jessica won a silver medal and $400 dollars where competed against students from around the world.

Nebo Education Foundation Gives May Grants to Teachers
Published by lana.hiskey on Mon, 05/08/2017 - 2:55pmThe Nebo Education Foundation board met on May 2, 2017, to discuss the many grants and needs across the district. This Foundation Board functions through generous donations made by individuals and businesses as well as fundraisers where all the money goes to educate students in Nebo School District.
One fund-raising effort is the annual “Green Fever” golf tournament that helps fund these various grants throughout the year. The “Green Fever” tournament will be Thursday, May 18, 2017. Thank you to all those that so generously supported Nebo students.
