The Nebo Adult Education Program held their semiannual Recognition Night on Thursday, November 19, at the Landmark High School gymnasium. There were 82 graduates who completed the necessary requirements to earn an Adult Education Secondary Diploma and three students who passed all four sections of the GED (General Education Development). Also honored during the ceremony were 99 students who have achieved at least one level gain in the areas of Reading, Math, and Language.
The Nebo School Board of Education was delighted to see and hear from Salem Elementary students.
Principal Jim Welburn thanked the Board Members for the opportunity to share some of the great things that are going on at Salem Elementary. Beautiful music was directed by Lindsay Priday. The student choir sang, “This Land is Your Land” and “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” with bells.
