The Nebo Education Foundation functions through generous donations made by individuals and businesses. The Foundation helps enrich students’ education in Nebo School District. These grants are funded through the fund-raising efforts of the Nebo Education Foundation board. The foundation also accepts donations from individuals and businesses to support projects.

A ‘Magical’ Time--Salem Junior Celebrates National School Lunch

A “magical” time was experienced by students at Salem Junior during National School Lunch week.  The students enjoyed mobile games of Nerf Basketball, Home Run Derby, and Cherry Tomato Hockey all prepared by Lori Catmull, Child Nutrition Coordinator; Anna Willis, Nebo Dietetic Intern; and Julie Silcox, Food Service Manager.

A highlight for the Nebo School Board of Education is to meet with students from each of the high schools and junior high schools on a quarterly basis. Each Youth Board representative is selected by his/her principal to be a spokesperson for their school.

Engaging in Better Sportsmanship and Leadership

Engaging in Better Sportsmanship and Leadership

Captains and student leaders from six high schools and seven junior high schools attended the NeboSchool District’s Fall Academy. The purposes of the Captains’ Academy are to promote sportsmanship between the schools through the captains and leaders working together at the academy, promote better relations between the students and athletes, develop leadership through the academy activities, and develop relationships with coaches and administrators as they present at each academy.

Landmark High's Food Bank

Landmark High School’s Food Bank is now open to serve area schools and local families in the Nebo School District. The food bank has food, clothing, hygiene products, shoes and school supplies available to area children and families.  Local school administrators and interested residents should contact Monica Hullinger, program director, or Hollie Johnson at  or 801-798-4030 for additional information on this community

'Be the Magic' theme for Foothills Elementary - Answer to Wednesday's Challenge

'Be The Magic' is the theme for Foothills Elementary School this year. The students are engaged in doing 'Little Wows' for others each day. Foothill's goal is to 'Be The Magic' for someone who needs a little magic cheer! Great job students, faculty and staff for helping make this activity magical.
